Each Designer has a Motivation

In the end, the author turns to the reader, and suggests that he considers his interest in becoming a game designer. Ask yourself, "Why am I doing this?" in general, and of each game you create, ask whether making taht game, specifically, fulfills your motivation.

There is also a suggestion that if you intend to move forward with game design, figure out the game you'd like to make as soon as possible, write it down, and make a point of working toward it whenever you can - preferable as soon as possible, because once you set aside what you want to do for the things you have to do, it's hard to get back to it.
