Nurturing Life on the Internet

This chapter was a gathering of various topics dealing with the "current" and "future" issues - but nothign was worth preserving.

Since the book was written (in 1999), much of this forecasting is moot. Many of the issues the author expressed concern about never became critical, or had far less of an impact than the author predicted.

The only lesson to be taken from this chapter is that it is highly inadvisable to close a book with a chapter with predictions about "the future" - many of them turn out to be dead wrong, and it undermines the author's credibility.
